Random Molecule Generator

How to use the random molecule generator?

The random molecule generator consists out of a database of close to 3000 organic compounds. The organic compounds that are generated show their chemical formula, the name of the chemical component (IUPAC name) and the CAS number. This tool can be used for educational purposes.

Chemical Formula Generator

The chemical formula that is generated shows each constituent element by its chemical symbol and indicates the proportionate number of atoms of each element.

IUPAC Name Generator

The generated IUPAC name comes from the IUPAC nomenclature of organic chemistry. This is a method of naming organic chemical compounds as recommended by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), this is published in the blue book.

CAS Number Generator

The generated CAS number is the CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service) Registry Number which is a unique identifier for the chemical formula and IUPAC name.
